MATCH REPORT: ES Setif massacre Aduana Stars to progress in CAF Champions League

The 2016/17 Ghana Premier League champions have been eliminated from this year's edition of the CAF Champions League following their heavy away defeat to ES Setif.
 
Algerian giants ES Setif booked themselves a place in the group stages of the 2018 CAF Champions League after mauling Aduana Stars in the second leg of the preliminary round.
 
ES Setif inflicted a 4-0 defeat on the Dormaa-based club at the Stade 8 Mai 1945 on Sunday evening.
 
Two-goal hero Mourad Benayad ended the first department of the game in a 2-0 lead in favor of the Algerian side. He opened the floodgate in the 28th minute before doubling the score on the stroke of halftime.
 
After the break, Aduana Stars tried tormenting the defenders of ES Setif but most of their balls were blocked and wasted by their attackers.
 
On the hour mark, Abdelkader Bedrane made it 3-0 with fine strike before Algerian U23 star Abdelhakim Amokrane completing their home victory with another goal in the 93rd minute of the match.
 
ES Setif qualified to the group stages of the competition on a 4-1 aggregate and they will know the opponents on Wednesday.
