Aduana Stars have rebuffed stories circulating that the Confederations of Africa Football, CAF have rejected the Nana Agyemang Badu II Park for the group stages of the CAF Confederations Cup.

Aduana Stars, in a press release, state that, there has not been any communication directed to them as a club by the Ghana Football Association and therefore, should consider the story as fiddle-faddle.

Aduana Stars succinctly put that " Our attention has been drawn to various media reportage and rumours that NAB I park which was submitted by Aduana Stars Fc as our home ground for the CAF Confideration Cup has been *rejected* after inspection by CAF. The said information according to the rumour mongers is that we have been directed by CAF to play our matches at Cape Coast Stadium.

We want to state unequivocally clear that no such information has been communicated to our outfit as a club. As a matter of fact we took the pain to officially ask GFA if any such decision has been taken because of the confidence with which some people were reporting the fake news.

However, CAF has rejected issuing any such information into the public domain.

Management therefore wishes to inform all our teaming supporters and well wishers to treat such false and misleading information with the contempt it deserves. Aduana Stars Fc also wishes to assure all to remain calm and hopeful because per the arrangements and facilities provided by the club, we have every hope that our venue  which is NAB I, Dormaa park will be  approved by CAF."

Aduana Stars are in Group A of the Confederation Cup with Asec Mimosa from Cote D'Ivoire, AS Vita of DR. Congo and RAJA Casablanca of Morocco.
