Ghana football is in leadership crisis - Ghalca Chairman Kudjoe Fianoo

Ghana League Clubs Association Chairman, Kudjo Fianoo has descended heavily on the leadership qualities of the Ghana FA President, Kwesi Nyantakyi.

The official broadcast partners of the Premier League, StarTimes has proposed to the Ghana FA that they will telecast live matches only at four venues; Cape Coast sports stadium, Nduom sports stadium (Elmima, Cape Coast), Baba yara sports stadium (Kumasi) and Len Clay sports stadium at Obuasi.

Head of Marketing and PR for StarTimes Ghana, Miss Akorfa Djankui said  during the 2017/18 Ghana Premier League launch at the forecourt of the FA on Monday 26, 2018.

The Ghana FA will meet major stakeholders today to decide on StarTimes' proposal.

There are several reports in the media that the FA will embrace the offer.

But the Ghalca Chairman, Kudjo Fianoo believes the incompetence of the Ghana FA leader accounted for the happening.

"I feel Ghana football is in leadership crisis. The current FA has no interest in Ghana football again. The FA President (Kwesi Nyantakyi) travels more than pilot" Fianoo told Oyerepa FM.

The launching saw the absence of Kwesi Nyantakyi, the FA President, and his Vice George Afriyie.

He continued "The club owners must also be blame. They are being controlled by the football people. How can they sit unconcern for their investment to go waste".

"They must protect their investment. They shouldn't allow this thing (StarTimes' proposal) to happen".

The 2017/18 Premier League season starts this weekend.
