Team Of The Week; Ghana Premier League Week Three

Ashanti Gold SC dominate the team of the week with three player after their hard fought victory against Karela FC in Obuasi.
Richard Osei Agyemang of Ashanti Gold SC and Zubero Sharani of Dreams FC are the only players to have maintained their position in the team for all the Match Day's.

Felix Annan (Asante Kotoko)- He is making his second consecutive appearance in the team of the week following his output in the midweek. His brilliant saves prevented Kotoko from conceding any goal from open play but only from the spot against Medeama. His sole efforts for Asante Kotoko was enough for him to snatch away the Man Of The Match award though Kotoko lost to Medeama SC at the T&A Park.
Christopher Bonney (Hearts of Oak)- The right-back was absolutely incredible on the flanks against his former side. He assisted the second to Joseph Esso, another former player of Dwarfs to proved a berth in the Team Of The Week. He played on both flanks in both halves to establish a strong case of his qualities as a defender.
Roland Amuzou (Ashanti Gold SC)- Roland Amozou was exceptional with his passing and possessive play against Karela FC in Obuasi. He was a stand out performer at the defense for Ashanti Gold. He hardly missed anything that came from him with his mesmeric runs on the flanks and perfectly executed his defensive duties well.
Richard Osei Agyemang (AshantiGold SC)- Osei
Agyemang has also maintained his place in team after displaying a flawless performance against Karela FC. He earned praises from the fans and journalists who watched the match after producing the only goal of the game in a tiring encounter. His command and control of the Ashanti Gold back line is awesome which rarely made Karela FC made any incursion at goal throughout the game. His goal has ensured the Miners cement their position atop of the league table.
Nuhu Musah (WAFA)- The young central defender scored the first goal for his side and organised his back four well which earned them their first clean sheet of the season. He repelled all the threats that came the way of Aduana Stars from two of the most experienced attackers in the league; Nathaniel Asamoah and Yahaya Mohammed.
Malik Akowuah (Hearts of Oak)- With Hearts of Oak winning their first game of the season, Akowuah played a vital role in their away victory over Ebusua Dwarfs. Following his performance, he was adjudged the Man Of The Match award after the game. He "smoked" all the duties of a holding midfielder. He shielded the back four so well and connected the defense to midfield excellently.
Appiah McCarthy (Ashanti Gold SC)- Such a great player by all standard patrolling everywhere on the pitch. His intelligence on the field was superb with his passes and movement. He won the Man Of The Match award against Karela FC. Calmly personified but efficient and effective with the ball.
Joseph Baffour Gyawu (Inter Allies)- Baffour Gyawu was on cloud nine after Inter Allies 2-0 home win over Liberty Professionals after his output earned him the Man Of The Match award. He powered Allies to victory with his two goals in the second department of the game. His delightful display gave Kenishi Yatshuashi his second win of the season. His second goal was a masterpiece of class.
Aminu Mohammed (WAFA)- The young attacker made it into the Team Of The Week for the second week running scoring his third goal of the season on a trot against Aduana Stars. He is surely rising to be a key player for his side as the season slides in.
Abdul Wahab (Eleven Wonders)- The two-goal hero was influential in Eleven Wonders' first-ever victory in the Ghanaian top-flight league as he tormented Bechem United defense with several venomous strikes in the match. He won the Man Of The Match award following his brace for Eleven Wonders.
Sharani Zuberu(Dreams FC)- He continued his impressive performance in the Ghana Premier League with another goal. His lone strike handed Dreams FC a 1-0 win over Wa All Stars. He made the All Stars defense unrest for the entire duration of the match, which earned him the Man of the match award. He makes it to the Team Of The Week for the third time running.
