MATCH REPORT: Hearts of Oak 1-0 Dreams FC - Rainbow boys silence 'Stubborn' Dreams

Dreams FC tasted their first defeat of the 2017/18 Ghana Premier League season after being pipped by Hearts of Oak on Sunday afternoon.
 
Accra Hearts of Oak recorded a 1-0 home victory over Dreams FC at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.
 
The Rainbow boys dominated the early minutes of the first half with several fearsome attacks to grab the lead before recess.
 
In the fifteen minute, Hearts nearly got the deadlock opened but Daniel Kordie's strike went over the bar.
 
The Phobians continued mounting pressure on the visitors to open the score four minutes later through Patrick Razak.
 
Dribbling whizkid Patrick Razak grabbed the only goal for Coach Henry Wellington's side in the 19th minute after connecting a corner kick from Christopher Bonney.
 
Malik Akowuah could have register his first goal of the season but his audacious strike was denied by goalkeeper Isaac Amoako.
 
Dreams FC gained possession in the mid of the first department as Kwadwo Asamoah tried his luck but his shot went wide.
 
The first half of the match ended in a 1-0 victory in favor of Accra Hearts of Oak through Patrick Razak's goal before the half hour mark.
 
After the break, Dreams gained possession again to mount pressure on the Phobians but most of their strikes were cooled by goalkeeper Benjamin Mensah.
 
With Benjamin Agyare, Christopher Bonney, Fatawu Mohammed and Robert Addo made it difficult for the Dreams attackers - Eric Gawu, Zuberu Sharani and Richard Addae - to penetrate.
 
Veteran striker Eric Gawu and Zuberu Sharani could have score more goals for the Dawu-based club but most of their shots were blocked by the Hearts of Oak defenders.
 
Joseph Esso also tormented the Dreams FC back line as some strikes from him went wide.
 
Both sides failed to find the back of the net in the second department of the game as it ended in a 1-0 win in favor of Hearts of Oak.
