The Government of Ghana, in collaboration with the Federation of International Football Association, FIFA, have mandated two people to constitute a Two-Liaison team for the administration of football for the interim.

The Government of Ghana, in consultation with FIFA in their meeting last week in Zurich, have formed a team to ensure the smooth running of football in Ghana.

"Pending the institution of definite interim measures for the administration of football in Ghana, the following persons are mandated to constitute a Liaison Team with FIFA and the Confederations of African Football (CAF) for football affairs in Ghana:

a. Dr. Kofi Amoah (Head of the Liaison Team

b. Coach Oti Akenten (Member of Team)."

In a press release by the Minister of Youth and Sports, the Government urges all football lovers to have trust in this team led by Dr. Kofi Amoah to help sanitize the game again.

"The Government entreats Ghanaians, and the football community in particular, to remain calm whiles firm measures are adopted to sanitize the administration of the game of football in the country." The statement said.

The two-member-team which include the Technical Director of the Ghana Football Association, Francis Oti Akenten, are to restore the integrity and normalcy to the administration of football in Ghana.
