MATCH REPORT: Hearts of Oak suffer painful Inter Allies defeat in their 107th anniversary match

Accra Hearts of Oak suffered a defeat to Inter Allies in their 107th anniversary match on Sunday afternoon.
 
 
The Rainbow boys were beaten by their fellow Ghana Premier League side Inter Allies at the Tema Sports Stadium.
 
Inter Allies ended the first department of the match in a 1-0 victory through Alex Aso.
 
Youngester Alex Aso opened the score for the 'Eleven is to one' lads with a cool finish on the 12th minute.
 
The Phobians tried their luck with strikes from Anthony Quayson and Malik Akowuah but goalkeeper Saeed Salifu denied them from netting the equaliser.
 
After the break, Niger international Victorien Adebayor doubled the scores for Inter Allies on the 68th minute of the game.
 
On the 75th minute, Anthony Quayson grabbed the consolation goal for Hearts of Oak.
 
Hearts of Oak failed to utilize their chances and set-pieces awarded to them in the last ten minutes of the match as ended in a 2-1 victory in favor of Inter Allies.
