Ghana inflicted a 2-0 home defeat on the Walis of Ethiopia in their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier clash at the Addis Ababa Sports Stadium.
Coach Kwesi Appiah's charges dominated the first department of the match as they ended it in a 2-0 lead through Jordan Ayew.

With few minutes to end the match Minyelu Wendimu Omod Okuri and Addis Gidey tried to grab a consolation goal but their strikes went wide.
