MATCH REPORT: Hearts of Oak 2-1 Ebusua Dwarfs - Phobians grab first victory of the season

The Rainbow club recorded their first win in the ongoing Ghana Premier League season after beating Ebusua Dwarfs on Sunday afternoon.

Accra Hearts of Oak managed to beat Ebusua Dwarfs 2-1 in their week three encounter at the Accra Sports Stadium.
 
Coach Odoom started the match with two debutants namely Richard Attah and Frederick Ansah Botchway as they were in search for their first victory of the season.
 
The Phobians looked very scary in the early minutes of the game but were denied by goalkeeper Razak Issah.
 
Hearts of Oak dominated the first department of the match with several goal scoring opportunities which resulted them a goal.
 
On the half-hour mark, Joseph Esso snatched the opener for the Rainbow club with a brilliant free-kick.
 
The home side continued their dominance with fearsome attacks as Kojo Obeng Junior came close to double the lead but his strike was denied by the woodwork.
 
Ebusua Dwarfs tried their luck in the last ten  minutes but the failed to equalise as Hearts of Oak ended the first half in a 1-0 victory.
 
After the break, Hearts of Oak continued to pile much pressure on the visitors which earned them another goal after ten minutes.
 
Kofi Kordzi doubled the lead for the Rainbow club with a brilliant free-kick on the 56th minute of the game.
 
Ebusua Dwarfs pulled one back through Albert Hammond with a superb strike on the 70th minute.
