Tetteh Zutah eyes victory over Karela in GPL opener

The midfield dynamo has said that his team are confident of whipping their regional rivals in the 2017/18 Ghana Premier League match-day one.

Medeama SC captain Joseph Tetteh Zutah has fired a strong warning to Karela United FC ahead of their clash.

The Yellow and Mauves will play as host to the Ghana Premier League newbies in the match-day one of the Ghana Premier League at the Tarkwa and Aboaso Park on Sunday.

According to the 23-year-old, he and his teammates won't underrate the Nzema-based club following their impressive output in GFA/Startimes Gala competition and the GHALCA G8.

"We are very happy, the league will be commencing this weekend. We have prepared very well for Karela FC," Zutah told Silver FM

"Karela FC are new in the top-flight league but we won't underrate them. We played against them during the GFA/Startimes GALA competition and their performance was very impressive."

"Our dream is to start the season on a good note, so Karela can't survive in Tarkwa on their debut league match."
