Eric Donkor calls for a unifying game

Former Asante Kotoko deputy captain, Eric Donkor  who is now playing for regional rivals Ashanti Gold, is calling for another match between Asante Kotoko and Ashanti Gold to decide a better side of the two.

Two legged games failed to produce a winner after Ashanti Gold beat Kotoko by 3-2 at Len Clay Sports Stadium.

According to the experience left-back, he want another game to decide who owns the region.

"For me I need another game, looking at how the game went I think we need another game to decide who is the winner.

“I’m disappointed Asante Kotoko scored two goals here, because during the league we didn’t concede any goal in Obuasi.

"So for them to score two goals was a bit disappointing on our part," he told the media after the match.

The victory of the miners in yesterday's game took the aggregate scoreline between the two clubs to 5-5 over the two legs.
