Upper East RFA Chairman, Salifu Zida donates to Paga Crocodiles Stars

The Regional Football Association Chairman of Upper East, Salifu Zida has donated some items to Division One League side, Paga Crocodiles Stars ahead of their maiden campaign in the National Division One League.

Zida, who is also the vice Chairman of Ghana’s Female National Team, The Black Queens Management Committee made the donation on Saturday after his team Bolga All Stars Babies (a third division side) engaged the Paga based-side in a friendly match in Paga.

Donated items included 50 bags of sachet water, Mitre footballs as well an undisclosed amount of money to the Club.

This donation according to the RFA Chairman is his own small way of contributing to the team Division One League campaign.

“I know how difficult it is to play in the division one league and I think if Paga Crocodiles Stars will do well, they need everybody’s support and that is the reason I made those donations, no matter how small it is, I am sure it can help them," he said.

"I have given them four of my boys who played in the Ghana Premier League last season with Bolga All Stars and have plans to provide them with 50 bags of Zidcool sachet drinking water every month." he added.

Paga Crocodiles Stars is the only team from the Upper East Region competing in the national division one league and according to Mr. Zida the entire region must support the team to succeed.
