2019/2020 ASHANTI INTER-SCHOOL BOYS SOCCER COMPETITION: Adgass 1-1 Olag - Adu Gyamfi eliminate OLAG 3-2 on penalty shootouts

Adu Gyamfi triumphed in the last match of the round thirty-two (32) stage of the ongoing Ashanti Regional Inter-School and College Boys Soccer competition.

The former champions progressed to the round sixteen (16) stage of the competition after winning 3-2 on penalties against Our Ladies of Grace at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Tuesday afternoon.
 
The match ended 1-1 apiece with goals from Patrick Prempeh and Seidu Sana for Olag and Adgass respectively.
 
Olag commenced the game on a high intensity with their impressive performance in the first half.
 
Olag kept tormenting Adgass with brilliant passes as they were searching for the opener.
 
On the 15th minute, Patrick Prempeh took advantage of goalkeeper's blunder and had a diving header to open the score for Olag before the recess.
 
Adu Gyamfi grabbed the initiative in the second half as they levelled the score through a controversial penalty which was neatly converted to the left top corner by Seidu Sana.
 
Olag coach was matched off the dugout by the centre referee after the penalty kick when he involved himself in a violent argument with the match officials.
 
Aduman continued to press for the winner but Sana late strike was denied by the substitute goalkeeper.
 
The match moved into penalties and Adgass triumphed with 3-2 win over Olag.
 
Adu Gyamfi SHS will lock horns with Islamic SHS in the round sixteen (16) on Wednesday.
