Emmanuel Boateng came off the bench to score winner for Levante in La Liga

Ghanaian forward Emmanuel Boateng climbed off the bench to score a winning goal for Levante in the Spanish La Liga Santander on Friday evening.

Levante UD managed to beat Eibar 2-1 at the Estadio Ciudad de Valencia.

Spanish international Roger Marti opened the score for the home side in the 25th minute before Charles Dias de Oliveira snatched the leveller in the 63rd minute of the game.

The 21-year-old powered his side to victory with a cool finish in the 64th minute to hand them all the needed three points.

He was introduced on the hour mark to replace Giampaolo Pazzini.

The young attacker has netted three goals in his 24 appearances in all competition for Levante UD this season so far.

Boateng has played for Ghana at the U17 and U20 level but he is yet to earn a call-up to feature for the senior national team of Ghana.
