BK Hacken Star Nasiru Mohammed Set For Surgery

Former Ghana U-17 captain Nasiru Mohammed has been ruled out for the rest of the season due to a thigh injury he sustained during a league match with Brommapojkarna.

The phenomenal Ghanaian youngster has been a key figure this season for Hàcken with four goals out of 17 appearances.

According to the club's physiotherapist Patrik Ghazarian, Nasiru will need four months of rehabilitation before he returns on to the field.

"It is obviously sad but I will be back stronger. I've never been away from football for so long, so it will be interesting to see how it is. But my body is recovering so well so I hope it's going so fast."

"The doctor said I could let the injury heal with surgery. But that, the injury could easily come back again. With surgery, I will be as normal again."

" I've heard of players who did the same operation and then been able to play for another ten years. So it feels nice," he told the club's website.
