Majeed Waris finally score his first goal for FC Nantes

Ghana striker Majeed Abdul Waris registered his debut goal for FC Nantes in the French Coupe de la Ligue on Tuesday evening.
 
FC Nantes inflicted a 3-0 heavy away defeat on Montpellier to progress to the next round of the competition at the Stade de la Mosson.
 
The 27-year-old doubled the score for the Yellow and Green lads on the 80th minute after Kalifa Coulibaly has snatched the opener on the 58th minute.
 
Substitute Emiliano Sala completed their away win with his strike in the dying embers of the match.
 
The Ghana international enjoyed the full duration of the game.
 
He joined the French Ligue 1 side on a season-long loan deal from FC Porto during the summer transfer window.
 
Waris has netted one goal with an assist in his 12 appearances for FC Nantes in his debut season.
