Samuel Sarfo scores his first Champions League goal for Saipa FC

Ghana defender Samuel Sarfo grabbed his first goal for Saipa FC in the Asian Champions League play-offs on Tuesday evening.

Iranian club Saipa FC recorded a 4-0 home victory over Minerva Punjab at the Takhti Stadium.

Two-goal hero Arash Rezavand opened the floodgate for the homesters on the 5th minute from the spot before Arman Ramezani doubled it on the 24th minute.

The 28-year-old extended the lead for the Orange lads with a powerful header on the 73rd minute of the game before Arash Rezavand completed their heavy home win with his late goal.

He joined Saipa FC from Ghana Premier League side Liberty Professionals in 2018.

Sarfo has capped fifteen (15) times for Saipa FC in all competitions this season.
