Jordan Ayew scores against Arsenal to equal 48-year-old record

The Black Stars forward became the first Eagles player to score against the Gunners in both league fixtures of a season.

Ghana striker Jordan Ayew was on the score sheet for Crystal Palace to secure a vital point in their clash with Arsenal on Saturday.

The 28-year-old scored an equalizer for the home side on the 54th minute after Gabon striker Pierre -Emerick Aubamenyang had opened the score for Arsenal in the first half.

His goal against the north London club saw him equalling John Craven’s 48-year-old Crystal Palace record.

Ayew has netted six goals in his 21 Premier League appearances for Crystal Palace this season.
