Sports Minister Nii Lantey promises to pay Black Queens before Christmas holidays

The Ministry of Youth and Sports have promised to settle the senior female national team before the Christmas festive.
 
Black Queens midfielder, Samira Suleiman says the Sports minister has promised to pay their bonuses before the holidays.
 
The Women football team staged a protest on the street of the nation capital -Accra- over their unpaid bonuses on Thursday.
 
"We're very sad for the treatment they always give to the various female national teams" she told Takoradi based radio station SPICE FM
 
"We meet him [Hon. Nii Lantey] today at his office and he told us that we will received our money before the Xmas holidays"
 
She concluded "If they fail to fulfill their promise, we will meet again to know what to do next" 
 
Ghana placed third in the 2016 Africa Women Cup of Nations held in Cameroon.
