MATCH REPORT: Black Satellites whip Algeria to progress in AFCON U20 qualifiers

Coach Jimmy Cobblah and his charges are through to the next round of the Africa Cup of Nations U20 qualifiers after whipping Algeria on Sunday afternoon.
 
The Black Satellites of Ghana managed to beat 2-0 in the second league tie at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.
 
The Ghana U20 side have qualified to next round of the Africa Cup of Nations U20 qualifiers on a 2-0 aggregate.
 
Ghana started the game on a good note as the mounted pressure on the Algerian U20 side to open the score in the 36th minute of the game.
 
Right to Dream Academy prodigy Kudus Mohammed fetched the opener for the Black Satellites in the 36th minute with a cool finish.
 
The Algerian U20 side tried their luck in the first half but failed to find the back of the net as it ended in a 1-0 victory in favor of Ghana.
 
Two minutes after the break, the male national U20 team of Ghana doubled the lead through another Right to Dream Academy youngster.
 
Former Ghana U17 star Ibrahim Sadiq netted the second goal for the Black Satellites after slotting the ball past the Algerian goalie in the 47th minute of the game.
 
The male national U20 team of Ghana continued dominating the match with brilliant passes and fearsome attacks to run riot but the Algerian defenders prevented them.
 
Ghana won 2-0 to progress to face Benin in the final qualification round of the AFCON U20 qualifiers.
