EXCLUSIVE: Kwabena Owusu, Ashimeru and 8 other foreign-based players earn Ghana U23 call-up

Ghana U23 head coach Ibrahim Tanko has invited ten foreign-based players ahead of the CAF U23 Cup of Nations qualifier on March 23.

The Black Metoers of Ghana will be hosting the Gabon U23 team in the qualification round of the 2019 Africa U23 Cup of Nations at the Accra Sports Stadium.
 
This year's edition of the U23 Cup of Nations will be staged between 5-22 November 2019 in Egypt
 
Already, twenty-four locally based players are currently in camp preparing for the epic clash against Gabon.
 
On-loan Salamanca CF striker who bagged hat-trick against Togo, Kwabena Owusu has earned a call-up as well as Osman Bukari and Yaw Yeboah.
 
Former WAFA duo Majeed Ashimeru and Musah Nuhu were also called following their performances at FC St. Gallen in the Swiss Super League.
