Preview: Hearts of Oak vs Karela FC - How good can Hearts usher in the forthcoming season?

At the Cape Coast Sports Stadium, it will be a game between one club that have been active on the transfer market and the other who have been so silent in augmenting their squad for the upcoming season.
Accra Hearts of Oak will lead Karela FC in the first match of the Group B in the 2017 GHALCA G-8 tournament in a soaring but tricky encounter.
Karela FC have just arrived from Cote D'Ivoire on their pre-season campaign having played trial matches with Asec Mimosa and recording some handsome result which has invigorated them into this tournament.
However, Accra Hearts of Oak, who have been quite on not only their pre-season matches, but also on their recruitment exercise unlike their opponents who have made more than five key signings to strengthen their side.
With current happenings within both sides, Karela FC should look good before the game and should have everything for them in this encounter but this is a tournament were minnows hardly make it away from the experience ones, this time around against Accra Hearts of Oak.
Playing the return of the Ghana at 60 anniversary game in Kumasi against Asante Kotoko two weeks ago, Hearts of Oak should have their mettlesome galvanized to pip the worst out of the greenhorns in Ghana topflight football.
It is a game more of a stepping stone to ginger up both clubs into the tournament proper in their subsequent games and will look good to get the best out of both side in the game at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium this afternoon.
