CAF CONFEDERATIONS CUP: Aduana Stars on a winning mission against Asec Mimosas

Aduana Stars will host Asec Mimosas in the penultimate round of matches in the CAF Confederations Cup group stage games at the Nana Agyemang Badu II Park at Dormaa on Sunday, 19 August, 2018.

The last match Aduana Stars will be honouring at home is to give them nothing but the all needed three points to instill hopes of them qualifying out of the group stages to the quarter finals of the competition.

Having scored five times at home in the CAF Confederations Cup group stages, by passing Asec Mimosas who have been the whipping boys in the group should be at a go for Aduana if they are to qualify to the next stage of the competition.

The "Ogya Boys" do not have a good record in North Africa and will be in Casablanca to face RAJA in the last game where hopes of causing a surprise is highly low but beating Asec handsomely on Sunday will give them the hope of doing something good in Morocco to push them to qualify.

However, Aduana Stars will have to do without Yahaya Mohammed and Justice Annan who are out of this encounter due to accumulated number of cards and Zakaria Mumuni who is far away Austria to seal a foreign deal.

Advantage for Aduana Stars, Asec Mimosa will also be missing the service of their talismans Komla Agbeniandan and Amed Simba in this game giving Aduana Stars a brighter chance of winning this game.
