Preview: Elmina Sharks vs Karela United — A tricky battle in Elmina for both sides to make it out

Elmina Sharks return to play Karela United at the Nduom Sports Complex in their Match Day 2 fixture.

Elmina Sharks will seek to reverse the results they got on Match Day 1 against Bechem United on the road where they succumbed to a 2-0 defeat to record their first ever defeat against Bechem United.

Playing a side who are yet to have a good start in the league just like them, will them all square in chasing for victory.

However, playing at home will give Yaw Acheampong's side an added advantage in getting what results they dire need as the Nduom Sports Complex has relatively become somewhat a fortress for away side.

Attacker Benjamin Tweneboah will he available for Elmina Sharks who has been an integral pillar for the "Botweku Mba" over the past season which should reinvigorate to go in for all three points.

Karela United have been a fearsome side since their maiden season in the topflight league and will be looking forward to cement that accolade as they face their first away game of the season.

Moving away from their favourite Crosby Awuah Memorial Park at Aiyinase to the Akoon at Tarkwa has been, in one way or the other, a difficult challenge for them after losing their first game of the season at home to WAFA.

They will be forward to salvage that home defeat with a reasonable result this afternoon on the road to put them back in hopes of being a good side we saw last season.

The last time Karela United visited the Nduom Sports Complex was a good one for them as they picked a point there and will be rallying on that inspiration to at least replicate that feet.
