PHOTOS: Ghanaian Students in China watched Richmond Boakye Yiadom debut game for Jiangsu Suning

Ghanaian students in China were present at the Nanjing Olympic Sports Stadium to support the 24-year-old on his debut against Tianjin TEDA on Sunday.
 
Black Stars attacker Richmond Boakye Yiadom played his first match for Jiangsu Suning FC in the Chinese Super League.
 
The former Juventus star opened his goal scoring account on his debut after converting a spot kick awarded to them in the 75th minute of the game as they won 2-1.
 
He was in action with his compatriot Frank Acheampong who lasted for the entire duration for Tianjin TEDA.
 
One of the students, Solomon Frimpong Antwi who resides in Nainjin in the Jiangsu Providence where Jiangsu Suning FC are based disclosed to Kickgh.com they went to the Stadium to rally behind their brother, Richmond Boakye Yiadom.
 
"We were happy when the news was all over the internet that Boakye [Richmond Boakye Yiadom] was joining Jiangsu Suning," Frimpong Antwi told Kickgh.com
 
"We failed to meet him at the airport to welcome him to the Jiangsu Providence due to some reasons."
 
"After watching his unveiling on TV. We planned to be at the Stadium to show our brother some love whiles he marks his debut for Jiangsu Suning against Tianjin TEDA"
 
"We were much elated, when he score his first goal which was the opener after a scoreless draw in the first half"
 
Boakye Yiadom joined the Chinese Super League side from Serbian giants Red Star Belgrade after scoring 42 goals in his 48 appearances for the club.
