Our boys are not new to the African challenge - Kotoko Management member

Management member in charge of Legal affairs for Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Mr. Yaw Boafo is optimistic the experience of playing in continental club competitions garnered by most the players at the club will be a key determinant in Asante Kotoko eliminating their Congolese opponents to advance to the next phase of the competition.

Asante Kotoko will host Congolese giants CARA Brazzaville in the CAF Confederation Cup at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

"Most of our players have ever had a feel of the African club competition." He told Kumasi based Oyerepa FM yesterday.

"The likes of Felix Annan, Eric Donkor, Amos Frimpong, Awudu Nafiu, Wahab Adams, Saddick Adams and Jordan Opoku at a point in their respective careers featured in such competitions and I believe that's a plus for us we kick start our African campaign against CARA Brazzaville on Sunday."
