MATCH REPORT: Kotoko share spoils with Simba SC in a friendly

Kumasi Asante Kotoko managed to share spoils with the Tanzanian giants in an international friendly on Wednesday afternoon.
Tanzanian side Simba SC were to a 1-1 stalemate by Asante Kotoko in their 82nd anniversary match at the Uhuru Stadium.
The Ghana Premier League side started the match on a good note as they managed to end the first department in a 1-0 victory over Simba.
Two youngsters in midfield - Michael Yeboah and Douglas Owusu Ansah - dazzle the hosts back line which earned them a goal on the stroke of halftime.
Obed Owusu opened the score for the Porcupine Warriors lads in the 44th minute after connecting Yeboah's shot which was saved by the woodwork.
Goalkeeper Felix Annan made brilliant saves to deny the home side from levelling the score before the break.
After the recess, Simba SC piled pressure on visitors to snatch the equaliser fifteen minutes after the hour-mark.
Simba SC grabbed the leveller in the 75th minute of the game through Emmanuel Okwi.
Simba SC could have won the match but a late spot-kick awarded to them was fisted out by Felix Annan.
