MATCH REPORT: Aduana Stars 0-2 ASEC Mimosas - ASEC ends Aduana Stars' Confederation Cup dream

ASEC Mimosas have ended Aduana Stars' dream to the next stage of the 2018 CAF Confederation Cup after recording an away victory over the Ghana Premier League side on Sunday afternoon.
Aduana Stars suffered a 2-0 painful home defeat to ASEC Mimosas in the Group A fixture of this year's edition of the CAF Confederation Cup at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park.
The Ivorian giants dominated the first department as they registered two goals before the break.
ASEC opened the floodgate six minutes before the half-hour mark from the spot after Zana Coulibaly was brought down by Farouk Adams in the 22nd minute.
Striker Zao Gbagnon Badie grabbed the opener for the Yellow and Black lads after he struck the ball firmly into the back of the net from the spot on the 24th minute of the game.

Back from the break, the visitors continued frustrating the Fire boys with their descent and brilliant passes.
Midfielder Elvis Opoku nearly pulled one back for Aduana Stars but his 54th minute header went wide.
Also, Sam Adams tried his luck with long range shots in the mid of the second department.
Aduana Stars failed to score as the match ended in a 2-0 victory in favor of the Ivorian side.
Elsewhere, Congolese club AS Vita managed to beat Raja Casablanca 2-0 in their encounter.
