AFCON 2019: Asamoah Gyan set to dine with his team mates today after missing Black Stars meeting with President Akufo-Addo

General captain of the Black Stars, Asamoah Gyan is set to join his team mates for the team's farewell dinner at the Kempinski Hotel in Accra today after he was absent during President Akuffo-Addo meeting with the national team yesterday.

The Kayserispor striker missed the meeting involving President Akuffo-Addo and the players, technical and the management team of the Black Stars at the Jubilee House, Accra, on Thursday evening when he was enstooled as Chief by the Gbui traditional council for providing water at the Saint Francis training college in Hohoe in the Volta region.
 
The Black Stars will be treated to a farewell dinner today evening at Kempinski Hotel in Accra ahead of the team's departure to Dubai tomorrow for their pre-AFCON 2019 camping.
 
According to Kickgh.com information, the General captain of the Black Stars, Asamoah Gyan will make himself available for the dinner after he failed to attend the meeting.
 
Distinguished personalities like former President His Excellency Jerry Rawlings, Chief Imam Sheikh Dr. Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu, Speaker of Parliament, Prof. Aaron Mike Ocquaye are expected to be in attendance to bid the team farewell.
