BREAKING: Goalkeeper Kwame Baah dropped from Kotoko final 18-man squad for Kano Pillars clash

The young shot-stopper has been dropped from the Porcupine Warriors squad for their CAF Champions League opener this weekend, Kickgh.com can exclusively report.

Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Kwame Baah has been excluded from the 18-man squad for their clash with Kano Pillars following his call-up to the Ghana U23 team.
 
Kickgh.com can reveal that the 21-year-old was left out of the final squad for the all-important game to battle for his place in the Black Meteors team.
 
Kotoko will fly out to Nigeria to face Kano Pillars in the first leg tie with two goalkeepers namely Felix Annan and Osei Kwame.
 
Baah, former player of Inter Allies has established himself as the first choice goalkeeper of Coach Ibrahim Tanko's side in the qualification round of the 2019 Africa U23 Cup of Nations.
 
Kickgh.com understands that he will join the Black Meteors team at their training camp on Thursday. 
 
He was among three goalkeepers invited to the male national U23 team and will be facing competition from Kumson Augustine of Krystal Palace and Hearts of Oak no.1 Richmond Ayi.
 
Baah joined Asante Kotoko on a three-year deal after being unattached since last year.
