The Danish elite division campaigners have handed the talented Ghanaian teenager his first contract as a budding star
Danish-born Ghanaian teenager Noah Okyere has signed his first contract with Danish Superliga side FC Nordsjælland, the club have confirmed.
The 15-year-old promising star, currently with the U17 youth ranks, is rewarded with his deal given his talent as a rising star since linking up with the Farum-based club at the age of 15.
"15-year-old Noah Okyere has signed his first contract with FC Nordsjælland.Okyere, who can play both wing and left back, is part of FC Nordsjælland's U17 team.He grew up in Farum and started playing football in Farum BK as a 5-year-old," a club's statement over his deal read.
Okyere said it's a huge dream for him and his family to have inked his first contract with his boyhood club as he believes FCN is the right place for him to continue with his development as a budding talent.
"Having signed a contract with FC Nordsjælland is a huge dream for me. It is big both for me and my family, who have lived in Farum since I was 5 years old. I grew up in Farum and have played in the club ever since I was little. So I am a Farum boy to the core and that just makes it even greater to have signed a contract with FC Nordsjælland. I'm really proud of that," the 15-year-old told his club's official website.
He continued: "This is the right place for me. I feel at home at the club and I am sure that this is where I can develop the most. I experience a lot of support every day and FC Nordsjælland can help me develop as a player and person. Therefore, it is a fantastic opportunity to explore my potential and pursue my dreams within the world of football. I will continue the hard work and believe in myself. And I look forward to many more years at the club."
Okyere could be a Ghana-prospect for the future at the international level.
