CONFIRMED: Kotoko and Medeama to represent Ghana in CAF inter-club competitions in 2019

The Ghana Premier League duo have been given the nod to represent Ghana in the 2019 CAF inter-club competitions.
Asante Kotoko and Medeama have been granted the permission to feature in the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup next year.
Both clubs petition the country's interim football governing body, Normalization Committee to hand them the slot to represent Ghana in the next year's edition of the competition.
Last week, The Normalization Committee meet all the sixteen Premiership clubs at the Alisa Hotel where it was agreed that no Ghanaian club will play in any CAF competition in 2019.
Asante Kotoko wrote to the committee as a legitimate slot holder to represent the West African nation at the Confederation Cup after winning the 2017 MTN FA Cup.
The Tarkwa-based club also petitioned the Normalization Committee on the grounds of leading the log of the 2018 Ghana Premier League which ended abruptly.
