We deserve the victory over Ethiopia - Ayew

The deputy skipper of the Black Stars of Ghana has lauded his teammates following their away win over Ethiopia on Sunday.
Ghana midfielder Andre Ayew believes the team's performance earned them all the needed points in the fifth round of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
A first half brace from Jordan Ayew helped the Black Stars to post a 2-0 away victory over the Walis of Ethiopia in the qualification round of the AFCON 2019 at the Addis Ababa Sports Stadium.
"This is a very good result for us because we were in a difficult position to qualify ahead of the game but we have managed to pull it off thanks to the entire team," Ayew told reporters after the match.
"We have moved to second place in the group with six points, so we just have to build on this and make sure we put up a better performance than what we did today in the final game to get what we want.
"Everyone is happy with the victory and I believe we will definitely qualify for the AFCON at the end of the day,"
In March 2019, Ghana will host group F leaders Kenya who sit a point above in a final game. The winner of the match will earn an automatic qualification to the next edition of Africa Cup of Nations.
