Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan wants to win AFCON trophy before he retires

Black stars captain Asamoah Gyan wants to retire from national duties after he had won the Africa Cup of Nations trophy.
Gyan, who turns 33 today, has stated to quit playing for the Black stars after he wins an AFCON trophy.
The former Sunderland attacker have broke several records since 2003 but has never won a trophy with the Black stars.
Gyan, affectionately called 'Baby Jet' is the all-time top-scorer with 51 goals for Ghana and the all-time African top-scorer at the World Cup with 6 goals.
"I've achieved a lot personally but I want to win the AFCON trophy before I call it a day," Asamoah Gyan told Kumasi-based FOX FM.
"I'll be elated to win the AFCON Cup as the Black stars captain before I retire. We've to be united as a country to defend the flag of Ghana," he ended.
Several report has emerged that the former Sunderland attacker may retire after the AFCON 2019 in Cameroon.
