MATCH REPORT: 'Merciless' Asante Kotoko demolish Black Meteors in a friendly

Coach CK Akonnor's side continued their impressive performance ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup campaign with a victory over the Black Meteors of Ghana.
Kumasi Asante Kotoko recorded a heavy win in their last friendly match ahead of their clash with Kenyan club Kariobangi Sharks.
The Porcupine Warriors inflicted a 3-0 on the Ghana U23 team in a friendly at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
A brace from Amos Frimpong and Jordan Opoku's brilliant finish handed them the bragging rights over Coach Ibrahim Tanko's side.

Kotoko bagged their third goal from the spot after Emmanuel Gyamfi was brought down in the 18-yard box by Issah Yakubu.
Skipper Amos Frimpong neatly struck the ball firmly into the back of the net to complete their famous victory in Accra.

Kotoko leave the shores of Ghana on Tuesday for their CAF Confederation Cup first league tie against Kenyan side Kariobangi Sharks.
The Ghana U23 team are also preparing ahead of their 2019 CAF U23 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier with Togo.
