No plans to sack CK Akonnor - Kotoko CEO finally speaks

The chief executive officer of the Porcupine Warriors has revealed that his outfit has no plans of parting ways with the former Ghana international.

Asante Kotoko CEO, Mr. George Amoako has debunked reports in the local media that Coach CK Akonnor will be sacked.
Coach CK Akonnor has been told to submit his report during the club's CAF Confederation Cup campaign.
The Ghana Premier League side failed to make it to the next round of the Confederation Cup after losing 2-1 to Zambian side Zesco United on Sunday.
"Nobody has said CK Akonnor will be sacked. We should stop all these speculations. Who said he hasn’t done well, forget it." Mr. Amoako told Accra-based Happy FM
"He has done well for bringing the team this far. Just look at where he picked the boys and teams from.
“We were playing against a well matured side at this stage of the competition. We have learnt a lots and CK has done very well with the team.”
Coach Akonnor joined the most successful Ghanaian club on a two-year deal in October 2018.
