NC Special Cup Report: Inter Allies 0-0 Elmina Sharks - Determined Sharks hold Inter Allies in Tema

Inter Allies were held to a scoreless stalemate by Elmina Sharks in the GFA Normalization Committee Special Cup opener on Sunday.

The 'Eleven is to One' lads shared spoils with Elmina Sharks at the Team Sports Stadium.
 
The Tema-based club started the match on a good note with several fearsome attacks on Elmina Sharks.
 
Youngster Patrick Armah could have opened the score for the home side but his strike on the thirteenth minute went wide.
 
Coach Iddi's continued their impressive display as Abdul Nassiru Hamzah also fired a long range shot but it went over the bar on the half-hour mark.
 
The back line of Elmina Sharks prevented the homesters from scoring as the first department ended in a scoreless draw.
 
The early embers after recess was virtually the same as the last minutes of the first half.
 
Allies came in very hard but Sharks proved to be a very difficult side with a tight defense, making it difficult for our attackers.
 
The Capelli Boys kept pushing for the breakthrough, however Sharks had different expectations and kept the game solid at the back until the final whistle.
 
The opening day fixture ended goalless at the Tema Sports Stadium.  Issaka Mohammed of Elmina Sharks was named the man of the match.
