NC Special Cup Report: Liberty Professionals 4-0 Ebusua Dwarfs - Scientific Soccer lads whitewash toothless Dwarfs

Coach Reginald Boateng and his charges picked their first victory in the GFA Normalization Committee Special Cup on Wednesday afternoon.

Liberty Professionals recorded the heaviest scoreline in the competition after whipping Ebusua Dwarfs 4-0 at the Carl Reindolf Park.
 
The Scientific Soccer lads started the match with a blistering performance as they grabbed two goals before the half-hour mark.
 
With much pressure from the home side, Kwadwo Addai scored an own goal on the 12th minute to hand Liberty Professionals the lead.
 
Ten minutes after netting the opener, Emmanuel Addo ended the first half in a 2-0 win in favor of his side with a cool finish.
 
Ebusua Dwarfs tempted to launch some fearsome attacks but failed to battle with the enforcers of Liberty.
 
Goalkeeper Razak Issah was sent off on the stroke of halftime after a horrible tackle on Elvis Kyei Baffour.
 
Back from recess,  Liberty Professionals outplayed the visitors to score another two goals.
 
On the 73rd minute, Emmanuel Addo netted his second goal of the day after dazzling the defense of Ebusua Dwarfs.
 
Benjamin Eshun completed their heavy home win with his thunderbolt strike on the 79th minute of the game.
 
Liberty Professionals will host their regional rivals Inter Allies whiles Ebusua Dwarfs hold their winless streak to Dawu to face Dreams FC.
