Mubarak Wakaso expresses Black Stars battle-readiness ahead of 2019 AFCON

Ghana's midfielder Mubarak Wakaso has stressed about their readiness for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, by saying they are ready for the tournament.

Ghana drew 0-0 with South Africa on Saturday in their second and last pre-AFCON friendly, having earlier lost 1-0 to Namibia.
Wakaso is convinced about the Black Stars readiness for the 2019 AFCON trophy after they wrapped up their friendlies without a win and a goal.
The Black Stars, who are are seeking to win their fifth continental trophy and break the 37-year jinx, are currently preparing in Dubai for the prestigious tournament which starts on Friday, June 21.
"We've been discussing about the AFCON. How we can make it through to achieve we want. We'll do everything to achieve our goal in this tournament," Mubarak Wakaso told
"We're ready fir the AFCON per what I've seen at training and the camp," he ended.
Black Stars have been drawn against defending champions Cameroon, Benin, and Guinea-Bissau.
The team will depart from United Arab Emirates to Egypt on Thursday.
