I'm fit to play against Tunisia - Jonathan Mensah

Ghana defender Jonathan Mensah has declared himself fit for Black Stars' round of 16 game against Tunisia tomorrow.

The 28-year-old picked up an injury in their second Group F match with the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon.

He missed Ghana's 2-0 win over Guinea Bissau to advance to the knockout stage of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.

“I feel very good now. I’m getting better and better now," Mensah said.

"I leave it for the head coach and the medical team to decide but I’ve been communicating with the medical staff about how I feel but everything is fine,”

Ghana will face the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia at the Ismailia Stadium on Monday.
