BIG BLOW: Abdul Ganiyu to miss Kotoko's Champions League opener

The Porcupine Warriors have been dealt a big blow as the former Ghana U23 defender is set to miss their CAF Champions League opener.

Asante Kotoko defender Ismail-Abdul Ganiyu has suffered a knee injury ahead of their CAF Champions League campaign.
The 22-year-old sustained the knee injury during the club's training session at the Adako Jachie training complex.
He is expected to undergo a medical test to know the extent of the injury.
The stalwart guardsman played an instrumental role in their GFA Normalization Committee Special Competition campaign.
Ganiyu has become a key performer at Asante Kotoko since joining them from Karela United last year.
