VIDEO: $4.5 million is the smallest budget for AFCON - Dan Kwaku Yeboah

The astute sports journalist has stated that Ghana's budget for the just ended 2019 Africa Cup of Nations budget is the smallest spent in recent times.

Normalization Committee Spokesperson, Dan Kwaku Yeboah says the $4.5 million budget disclosed by the Ministry of Youth and Sports on Wednesday is the smallest spent by Ghana in recent times for such tournament.
 
Sports Minister, Hon. Isaac Asiamah confirmed to the Parliament of Ghana that the Government of Ghana handed a budget of $6.3 million to his ministry for the tournament but 70 percent [$4.5 million] was spent during the 32nd edition of the Cup of Nations.
 
"Let's tell the truth...In recent times this is smallest Ghana's budget for Africa Cup of Nations," he said on Peace FM
