Maxwell Konadu: We'll beat Burkina Faso in the return leg to qualify for 2020 CHAN

The head coach of the home based Black Stars has assured of a qualification to the next year's edition of the Championship of Africa Nations.

Black Stars 'B' coach Maxwell Konadu is highly optimistic of booking a ticket to the 2020 CHAN tournament to be staged in Ethiopia.
Ghana suffered a 1-0 painful loss to the local stallions of Burkina Faso in the first leg of the 2020 Championship of Africa Nations qualifier at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
A late strike from Stephane Yannick in the 94th minute of the game handed Burkina Faso a victory over the 2017 WAFU Cup winners.
We never expected to concede in the additional time. We tried to unlock the defence, we did but their goalkeeper also good on the day. It was a difficult game," Coach Maxwell said after the match
"This is the only first leg. We have another 90 minutes to play and I strongly believe anything can happen in Burkina Faso.
"We have a good team and we can cause a havoc in Burkina. We can also qualify"
"It is possible that we can also beat them in Ouagadougou to qualify. We'll do everything to qualify for the 2020 CHAN"
The Black Stars 'B' have missed the last two edition of the CHAN tournament.
Ghana will battle out with the West African country in the reverse leg encounter in Ouagadougou on October 20.
