Johnson Smith to commence work at Kotoko this week

The experienced trainer is rejoining the technical team of the Kumasi-based club as their new assistant coach.

Karela United head coach, Johnson Smith is set to start work at Asante Kotoko this week after agreeing terms with the club.
Coach Smith has been in Kumasi for the past days to complete talks with the officials of the Porcupine Warriors to finalize his switch.
He is joining Asante Kotoko as replacement for Akakpo Patron ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup campaign.
Smith has rich coaching experience in Ghana Football having served as head coach of Sekondi Hasaacas, Bibiani GoldStars, Eleven Wise and Berekum Arsenals.
He helped Karela United to secure qualification to the Ghana Premier League during the 2017 season.
Coach Smith also guided Karela United to reach the finals of the GFA Normalization Committee Special Competition tier-1.
