David Duncan appointed Black Stars assistant coach Featured

The Ghana Football Association are reportedly named the former Hearts of Oak gaffer as Black Stars assistant coach.

Experienced coach David Duncan has been appointed the new assistant coach of the senior national team of Ghana.
The 56-year-old has landed the vacant role after the Ghana FA dissolved all technical men and women of national teams last month.
He has been appointed to deputize newly appointed head coach, Charles Kwablan Akonnor who secured the job on Tuesday after inking a two-year deal with the West African nation.
Until his appointment at the Black Stars, he was without a club after his contract with Asante Kotoko was terminated four years ago
Coach Duncan has vast experience in the local football after handling Hearts of Oak, Ashanti Gold SC, Asante Kotoko among others.
He coached South African club Free State Stars in 2018.
Duncan guided the Ghana U17 team to clinch silver medal at the 2005 Africa U17 Cup of Nations held in Gambia.
