MATCH REPORT: Great Olympics 0-1 Berekum Chelsea - 'Noisy' Oly Dade silenced by Chelsea at home

The 'Biribes' lads returned to winning ways after a shocked 3-1 home loss to Inter Allies last weekend.

Berekum Chelsea managed to beat Great Olympics in their match-day 11 clash at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Accra Great Olympics suffered a painful 1-0 home defeat to the one-time Ghana Premier League champions in their Premier League fixture this afternoon.

The fans witnessed an entertaining match with the two sides piling pressure on each other in the first half.

The first department of the match ended in a scoreless stalemate as both teams squandered the numerous chances created as well as the set-pieces awarded to them.

After lack of goals in the first half, Berekum Chelsea staged an intensified pressure on the home side which handed a goal after two minutes from recess.

Experienced left-back Richard Kissi Boateng was the hero of the day with his thunderbolt strike on the 47th minute of the game.

Great Olympics had an advantage of levelling the score but they failed to find the back of the net with their goal glaring opportunities.

Berekum Chelsea picked all the three maximum points to keep their hopes of winning the Ghana Premier League for the second time alive.
