Maxwell Konadu reacts to Kotoko's transfer ban Featured

The 47-year-old gaffer has commented on the club's decision to halt player recruitment for one year.
 
 
Asante Kotoko head coach Maxwell Konadu has reacted to the club's owner Otumfuo Osei Tutu II latest one-year ban on players transfer
 
The decision was announced by Manhyia Palace's Chief of staff, Kofi Badu in a speech read on behalf of Otumfuo Osei Tutu II at the inaugural meeting of the newly constituted board of the club.
 
Coach Konadu said in an interview with Oyerepa FM that the club's technical team will plead with the club's owner if the needs arises.
 
“It's a decision from the high office of the club and it won't be rigid to plead for one or two recruitments," Konadu told the media on Tuesday.
 
"If the need be to buy players, we will plead with Manhyia to allow us to purchase one or two but if we realize what we have is okay, we will move on"
