Asante Kotoko supporters leaders declare 3-day fasting ahead of CARA game

The Executive Committee of Asante Kotoko supporters wing, National Circles Council has called on their supporters to observe a 3-day fasting and prayers to support the team in their CAF Confederation Cup opener.
Kotoko will be battling with Congolese side Club Athlétique Renaissance Aiglon (CARA) on Sunday, 11th February, in a CAF Confederation Cup match at the preliminary round of the competition.

He continued "It will start from Friday to the matchday (Sunday). I will urge all the supoorters to be part of these initiative for a win".
In addition, the Porcupine Warriors have decided to create the awareness in Kumasi, where the club is based.
"We'll walk through the principal street of Kumasi on thursday to create the awareness of the CARA game. The match on Sunday is like a war and we expect all the Ashanti's to come to our rescue".
"We're expecting our eight million supporters at the Vigil on Friday night, where we will light up candles.
"We'll climax the awareness with a body exercise on Saturday morning at the Baba yara stadium" Asante Kotoko Communication team member, Edwin revealed to reporters.
The two-time Champions League winners have failed to compete in CAF competition since March 2015 when MC El Eulma booted them out of the Champions League.
