TEAM OF THE WEEK: Ghana Premier League Week Six

The 2017/18 Ghana Premier League Week six came with as many as twenty-two goals scored across all eight league venues., your authoritative and home of the Ghana Premier League, as usual, come your way with the Team Of The Week after Match Day Six coming from eight clubs.
Hafiz Konkoni of Bechem United, Maxwell Baakoh of Karela United, Justice Blay of Medeama SC, Obed Owusu of Asante Kotoko SC and others made their debut in the Team Of The Week.
In a 3-5-2 formation led by Samuel Boadu of Medeama SC as the coach, below is the team.
Felix Annan (Asante Kotoko SC)- Felix Annan bounces back to the team of the week with his swift and agile abilities in post for Asante Kotoko SC against Ebusua Dwarfs. His ability to help Kotoko to salvage all three points with a prompt save on the goal line to prevent Dwarfs from equalizing was highly commended and deserves a place in the team.
Benjamin Agyare (Hearts of Oak) CD- The tall guardsman sealed the back line for Hearts of Oak to prevent Wa All Stars from making any meaningful incursion throughout the duration of the game. His performance earned him the Man Of The Match award against Wa All Stars.
Hafiz Adams (Aduana Stars) RCB- The former Wa All Stars skipper was on top of issues on the field against Eleven Wonders at the Nana Agyemang Badu II Park at Dormaa. He didn't place any foot wrong in the game and won himself a goal in their 4-1 victory.
Justice Blay (Medeama SC) LCB- Justice Blay produced a sterling performance for his side when they broke the jinx of WAFA's 47 unbeaten home games where he leveled the scores for Medeama after WAFA had taken the lead. He covered almost every blade of grass at the Sogakope Astro-turf Park.
James Akaminko (Ashanti Gold SC) CDM- The midfielder continues to have a super and memorable season for Ashanti Gold SC when he gave out a stupendous performance in their first lost of the season against Liberty Professionals at the Dansoman Carl Reindorf Park. He won the Man Of The Match award after his side's lost.
Prince Acquah (Asante Kotoko SC) CDM- The young midfielder returned to the starting eleven for the Porcupine Warriors against Ebusua Dwarfs in Kumasi and he was flawless with his output. He connected so well with the other ten players on his side to help churned out their 2-1 victory on Wednesday.
Maxwell Baakoh (Karela United) LWB- Karela United are gradually warming themselves up into their debut season and they did that by beating Berekum Chelsea by 1-0 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Match Day Six. His dexterity on the flanks and productivity gave his side attacking hopes whenever on attack. He later won the Man Of The Match accolade.
Joseph Esso (Hearts of Oak) RWB- The former Dwarfs attacker produced another super outing for his side in their 3-1 victory against Wa All Stars. He scored the second goal for Hearts of Oak to cement their hopes of snatching all points for his side.
Solomon Okudzeto Gyesi  (Ebusua Dwarfs) CAM- The University of Cape Coast product was full of energy on Wednesday against Asante Kotoko SC playing right behind the marksman. He scored the equalizer for Dwarfs and had a controversial ball cleared away on the line by goalkeeper Felix Annan. He produced one of his best games of the season, thus far.
Obed Owusu Ampong (Asante Kotoko SC) SS- Obed Owusu has scored two goals so far this season, that's as many as he's scored for Asante Kotoko SC since his arrival at the club four seasons ago. He's truly on rampage and he clearly gave out a vintage performance for his side against Dwarfs in Kumasi. He scored a sublime volley to open the scoring for Kotoko and later won the Man Of The Match award.
Hafiz Konkoni (Bechem United)ST- The bulky striker bagged in a brace for The Hunters against Dreams FC at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park. Dreams FC struggled to contain and stopped his movement within the final third resulting in him getting a brace.
