Yacouba's unavailability is an opportunity to other players - Chairman Kwaku Amponsah

Asante Kotoko will face Zambian side, Zesco United, in a crunchy final match in group C of the CAF Confederation Cup over the weekend without talisman, Songnè Yacouba.

The Flamboyant Burkinaba Faso striker has been in a staggering and sterling form for the Ghanaian giants in their Africa campaign, scoring two goals with two assists in the process but will not be available due to accumulation of yellow cards.

However, according to the club's supporters chief, Kwaku Amponsah, the unavailability of the striker will by far affter the efficacy of the team but he maintains that it serves as a good opportunity for other strikers to also prove themselves.

"Yacouba's absence will affect the team but it is an opportunity for other players to also prove themselves that they also equally good like the Burkinabee international" says the supporters chief in an exclusive interview with kickgh.com.

Asante Kotoko gaffer, Charles Kwablan Akonnor, has to rely on strikers Frederick Boateng, Obed Owusu and newbie, Dany Teguay Zabo for a possible win in Zambia.
